Known for being the hub of camel breeding and agriculture, the town of Al Awir in Dubai now has a new homegrown speciality coffee shop that’s well worth a visit…
Emirati-owned, homegrown 106 Cafe Dubai marks another addition to Dubai and the UAE’s third wave coffee scene. Compact and cosy, it is named after the owner’s lucky number and when The Huntr visited, featured two friendly baristas who have worked together to create a special blend for the new concept – the 106 Cafe Signature (which we tried and loved in both the hot and cold versions).
Alongside the usual coffee suspects, 106 serves up bakes and sweets including homemade cookies (10AED) and an acai bowl (45AED).
