Adidas x Ravi: An iconic collaboration debut

Sports and leisurewear giant Adidas has partnered up with none other than Dubai’s beloved Ravi Restaurant – the humble Pakistani eatery that first opened its doors in Satwa in 1978. The collaboration features limited-edition Original Superstar trainers, named Superstar Ravi. Featuring Ravi’s signature green colour (a nod to the Pakistani flag), the shoes come in a special takeaway box and also feature six of the restaurant’s iconic dishes (with prices) listed on the tongue…

The Adidas x Ravi Restaurant trainers be available on June 23 from 10 am at Adidas stores in The Dubai Mall, Mirdif City Centre, Mall of the Emirates, online at adidas.com and at Level Shoes The Dubai Mall as well as on levelshoes.com

Speaking of the surprise collab, Ravi restaurant founder Chaudary Abdul Hameed said: “It’s humbling to see so many cultures and communities coming together to celebrate our traditions and roots through food. We’ve been feeding the people of Dubai for over 40 years, across different generations, and now bringing our story to the table in a different way is a moment for our family to be proud of.”

This partnership with Ravi’s is part of a wider project Adidas have launched called ‘adilicious’, which celebrates some of the best places to eat all over the world. Ravi’s is one of the eleven restaurants, in eleven cities globally, to be selected.
