One foot inside The Collective and you almost feel as if you’ve been transported to a mysterious riad in Morocco and this homegrown concept is home to a host of cool shops and pop-ups, and – toasties, tasty eats and amazing coffee thanks to Boston Lane…
The charming Boston Lane space was designed by Aussie sisters Alexandra Davidson (former brand manager at Bull&Roo and owner of Boston Lane) and Georgina Trigg (interior designer and owner of homewares store Georges of Dubai, also housed inside The Collective). The Millennial pink is juxtaposed with dove grey to make for an Instagram-friendly colour scheme, and you will absolutely adore the furnishings and little touches. There’s also a cool little cubby hole for pop-ups called ‘The People’s Pop-Up’, which is currently being used by regional plant experts The Habitat.
Even the music is perfect and the soothing sounds of Bon Iver made for the ideal accompaniment to the delicious cheat-day worthy grub on offer here (health-conscious folk will also be pleased to know that there are many nutritious options available too). Trust us: This is the perfect place to catch up with friends, or tuck yourself away in one of the cosy corners and get some work done.
Food-wise Boston Lane offers a plethora of sweet and savoury toasties (with the option to add gluten-free bread and/or make some of them vegan), hearty sandwiches, and all-day breaky options. Drinks-wise there is an assortment of speciality coffees, smoothies, cold-pressed juices, ice tea on tap, organic vegan lattes, and teas.
Insider tip: Boston Lane is open 7 days a week from 8 am until 7 pm. Stay up to date with their daily specials and news and follow their journey on Instagram here
