Bread Ahead is opening up a permanent location in Dubai

Following its coveted pop-up at Expo2020, iconic, London-born bakery Bread Ahead is preparing to open its first-ever permanent location in the UAE – inside Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates.

The brainchild of Matthew Jones, Bread Ahead started life in 2013 as a wholesale bakery and retail outlet in London’s famed Borough Market, later opening the Bread Ahead Bakery School. There are now five London branches, including three baking schools, and an outpost in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, which opened in June of 2022.

Known for its cult-fave filled doughnuts and sourdough pizzas, plus other delicious artisanal baked goods, Bread Ahead will open at Mall of the Emirates in February 2023. The expert bakers will also launch a Bread Ahead Bakery School in Dubai later this year too.
