Chapter One Dubai is a homegrown, Emirati-owned “Floral Cafe” tucked away inside Dubai Silicone Oasis (DSO). Join The Huntr as we present a closer look inside this Instagram heaven…
Attached to the Radisson Blue Hotel, Chapter One offers plentiful parking and plentiful picture opportunities. One foot inside and your nose will be filled with the scent of fresh flowers, followed by a faint whiff of chocolately brownies and speciality coffee. Interiors-wise this tiny little cafe is as pretty as they come, we loved the books dotted around on the tables for guests to peruse and the snappable “live” wall filled with greenery.
The barista and florist are chirpy and friendly and thanks to its free WiFi and cosy vibes, Chapter One is the ideal place to work or study. Although, word of warning: It’s awfully chilly (thanks to the low temps required for the florist’s corner), so wrap up warm.
Food-wise there are no main dishes served here but there are a plethora of cheat-day-worthy desserts (from fellow homegrown Emirati-owned gem ByHB), and delicious brownies.
The Huntr visited Chapter One on a Sunday afternoon for some coffee and couldn’t resist sampling the signature chocolate brownie and wholeheartedly recommend you do the same. We tried the Flat White and Piccolo, which were both excellent.
The in-house florist also provides the opportunity to pick up a special gift – either for a loved one or for yourself. A standard-sized bouquet is priced at a reasonable 150AED and is wonderfully presented and tied.
We also took a brownie to go and were delighted to see it carefully wrapped and affixed with a miniature bouquet. It’s the little details that we love and Chapter One has them by the bucket load…
Insider tip: The AC is really cold, wrap up warm.
