Once upon a time, in 1955, a small pastry shop called Châteraisé opened its doors in Japan. Fast-forward six decades (and counting) and Châteraisé now has over 450 outlets in Japan and following a takeover by Maître Paul in 2012, expanded its footfall in Europe (and beyond) too.
Châteraisé Mirdif 35 marks the Japanese icon’s first appearance in the Middle East. Located on the ground floor of the community mall Mirdif 35, Châteraisé offers a plethora of Japanese cakes (including whole cakes), confectionary and baked goods – all at very reasonable prices.
The Huntr loves the exotic array of sweet treats and friendly staff and recommends passing by to collect some bakes for a gathering, gift or just to treat yourself.
Insider tip: Don’t miss the Crepe Layers Cake, Cream Puff, Cheese Tart and Japanese Apple Pie.
