Comptoir 102: A charming little villa transformed into a healthy cafe & boutique

Like any great restaurant filed under the ‘healthy’ genre, the menu changes often according to seasonal produce. However, there are some regular items that we can thoroughly recommend including the seaweed pesto, which features Comptoir 102’s famous guacamole rich in vitamin E, raw linseed crackers rich in omega 3, and seaweed for its detoxifying and remineralizing properties. Standout items include buckwheat pancakes with organic, free-range eggs, chocolate porridge, strawberry gazpacho, creme Budwig, and honey oatmeal pudding. A cracking cup of coffee is also available here, with a variety of milks and homemade nut mylks. The black lemonade, which is made using activated charcoal, lemon juice, and maple syrup is the perfect recovery juice after too many late nights or takeaways, and there’s a list almost as long as the road this hotspot is situated on of other incredibly potent juices and smoothies.

Whilst most of the food on offer here is vegan, raw, dairy-free, paleo, and sugar-free – cheese, fish and meat lovers will find the menu peppered with healthy options that will please them, such as the feta and tuna pita sandwiches, and the organic chicken cabbage spring rolls. The toasted healthy labneh, olive, and walnut sandwich is also pretty tasty.
