DRVN Coffee Abu Dhabi: Speciality coffee, authentic, Neapolitan pizza, cars and art

The brainchild of Emirati national Rashed and Ukrainian expat Dmitriy, DRVN Coffee Abu Dhabi is a unique concept in the Embassies District. Join your friends at The Huntr as we present a closer look…

If you love speciality coffee, authentic, Neapolitan pizza, cars and art you are going to love DRVN Coffee Abu Dhabi – a homegrown concept, which offers all of these elements under one (slick) roof.

The founders wanted DRVN feel like home – as such they pay a lot of attention to the details and ambiance to ensure that their guests feel as comfortable as possible. Known for its speciality coffee, the team here roast their own beans in-house and source the finest coffee from the best farms across the globe – including Ethiopia, Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, and Brazil. There are also a variety of alternative non-dairy milks available including Japanese Hokkaido milk, Oatly, almond, and coconut.

Located between luxury car dealer showrooms, DRVN’s name is an ode to the founder’s love of cars and the two-storey space features a unique exhibition of rare and exclusive classic cars.

Food-wise, you can’t visit DRVN without experiencing the true authentic Neapolitan pizza, which is made fresh to order and cooked in a special pizza oven. There’s also an exceptional all-day breakfast and desserts menu on offer, plus burgers, sandwiches and salads. The Huntr started our weekend brunch with the Acai Bowl (49.52AED) and the Zaatar Flat Bread (53.33AED) and a V60 (33.33AED) from the coffee menu. Next we had the delicious Pizza di Bresaola (61.90AED) and finished off our experience with the Chocolate Brownie (23.81AED) and an Iced Spanish Latte (27.62AED).

The service here is quick and friendly and the cosy atmosphere and free wifi make it a great spot to do some work or study.

Insider tips: DRVN Coffee Abu Dhabi is open Sunday-Wednesday 7am until midnight. Thursdays 7am until 1am. Fridays 8am until 1am and Saturday 8am until midnight. Prices detailed above are before VAT. Complimentary parking and wifi available.
