Focal Point 2022: An art book fair in Sharjah

Calling all bookworms: The Sharjah Art Foundation is hosting its fifth edition of the Focal Point Art Book Fair from Friday, November 25 to Sunday, November 27, at the Bait Obaid Al Shamsi in Sharjah’s historic quarter. 

The book fair will showcase independent bookmaking from all over the world. It will bring together the work of 120+ publishers, artists, editors, and more. Visitors will find themselves amidst a wide selection of printed material by bookmakers, self-publishers, and non-commercial culture producers. The fair will also include panels, book launches, signings, live music, and global artist-made products.

Assele Kahwaji, pronounced “a-seal”, with a Lebanese origin that literally translates to the “soft gentle coffee maker” (loves Turkish coffee, extra cardamom).
