Looking for Dubai’s best rooftop bar? Then look no further, because this might just be it: Take a step inside Folly by Nick and Scott with The Huntr…
Nick and Scott first opened Folly in the Madinat Jumeirah in 2017. Spanning an extensive indoor and outdoor restaurant, it is the Folly rooftop that we are here to highlight. Because wow. This place is some gem.
Between 4 and 8 pm every day, Folly offers its super reasonably priced Sundowners Menu, where you can select from house wines, beers or cocktails from 30AED. The Huntr recommends sampling the Instagram-worthy ‘Prosecco Pop’ (AED35), which is comprised of a glass filled with bubbles and topped with an ice lolly. Summery bliss.
This is one of the most perfect spots in the city to impress visitors, enjoy a romantic date or celebrate a special occasion. The Huntr recommends booking the group area at the Folly terrace (weather permitting) for a magical special party, with some pretty breathtaking views.
We are yet to dine at Folly and therefore have nothing to say about it, but if the drinks and customer service and vibes are anything to go by – it’s probably pretty great.
Insider tips: Weeknights are delightfully chilled and it’s not too hard to find seating on the terrace between 7 – 8 pm. There is a private dining area sectioned off from the bar, which faces the Burj Al Arab and invites diners to experience a bespoke Folly dinner package with wine pairings. Folly is open for lunch on Thursdays and Saturdays from 12noon until 3.30pm, plus there is a Friday brunch from 1.30pm until 4.30pm. Sundays through to Wednesdays, Folly is open from 4pm for drinks and the dinner service starts from 7pm, 7 days a week.
