Origami Sushi: Japanese culinary craftsmanship in Marsa Al Bateen
Origami Sushi, the beloved Dubai-born Japanese restaurant, made its debut in Abu Dhabi's Marsa Al Bateen in December 2023. With existing locations in Dubai and Sharjah, Origami Sushi's latest outpost here in the UAE capital features the introduction of the koshitsu room, an exclusive private dining area that accommodates up to twelve people. This special enclave offers an immersive experience where guests can witness Origami's skilled chefs preparing dishes live at the table.
The restaurant seamlessly combines an elegant sushi bar and main dining area, with a sultry, moody ambiance, enriched with potted plants. Those familiar with the Origami brand will know that it is impossible to visit without wanting to take home at least a chair or two, and on this visit, we coveted the huge moon lamp; which proudly shone above Origami's bustling chefs. Drinks-wise, Origami is alcohol-free and offers a series of mocktails alongside specialty green tea, and other soft drinks.
