Jamie Oliver JLT is conveniently just a 5-minute walk from the DAMAC metro station. The JLT pizzeria features an open kitchen, homely interiors and is ‘big group’ and family-friendly.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, The Huntr visited for the most important meal of the day – and it didn’t disappoint. Breakfast is served from 8 am until 11:30 am daily, the prices are reasonable and the dishes are delicious.
We sampled the Full Monty (64AED), which is comprised of two beef sausages, crispy beef bacon, two free-range eggs any way you like, roasted tomatoes, hash browns, kale, avocado coated in superfood seeds. It’s a generous plate full of perfectly cooked, hearty breakfast treats and shouldn’t be missed. The Eggs Benedict (59AED) was flawless and comes with spinach, hash browns and roasted vine tomatoes with your choice of either mushroom, beef pastrami or smoked salmon. Sweettooth’s should order the Freshly Made Pancakes (34AED), which are light and fluffy and served with caramelised banana, toasted pecans and maple syrup. And the health-conscious will love the wholesome Granola (29AED) – crunchy honey-toasted granola served with natural yoghurt and berries.
Drinks-wise, Jamie Oliver JLT is alcohol-free and offers a wide range of coffees, teas, mocktails, shakes and soft drinks. In the mood for something healthy, The Huntr opted to try the freshly-made ‘Super Juices’. We ordered the Carrot, Beetroot and Apple (29AED) and the Kale and Spinach (29AED).
Clearly, we now need to return ASAP to try the pizza. Stay tuned…
Insider tip: The menu features some great vegetarian and healthy options. There’s also a dedicated kid’s menu on offer.
