Keki Abu Dhabi: A homegrown Japanese bakery and cafe in Al Bateen

Join The Huntr as we present a closer look inside Keki Abu Dhabi, a Japanese bakery and cafe serving speciality coffee and tea…

Emirati owned, Abu Dhabi-born homegrown concept Keki offers a delectable array of Japanese baked goods, a full breakfast menu and speciality coffees and teas. What started life as a food truck concept has since grown to feature several branches in the UAE capital – including this flagship at Al Bateen and will soon open in Cairo, Egypt.

The Huntr visited to try the delicious-looking Pancake French Toast (57AED) and it didn’t disappoint. Light and fluffy, you could share the dish with a friend if you weren’t overly hungry or enjoy it solo if you have a bigger appetite. The menu also offers healthier alternatives including Acai, Granola and a Green Booster Bowl. There are also savoury egg dishes available plus a variety of freshly baked pastries and cakes from the counter.

Drinks-wise, Keki Abu Dhabi is alcohol-free and offers a variety of speciality coffees (hot and cold) alongside hot and cold speciality teas. Plant-based milk is also available for an additional 3AED. The Huntr sampled the Estate Breakfast Tea (17AED). We are yet to try the speciality coffee and are already planning our return to do just that (we will keep this feature updated when we do)…

Insider tips: Open daily from 8am until 11pm. Free wifi available.
