Opened in late 2018, Leonardo Dubai is a licensed Italian gem inspired by Leonardo da Vinci in Dubai Marina. Join your friends at The Huntr as we present a closer look…
Located inside the Stella Di Mare Hotel, Leonardo Dubai is the perfect spot for a romantic dinner date. Opulent and cosy, the artistic interiors are a nod to its namesake inspiration – the iconic Leonardo da Vinci.
The menu features an array of classic Italian dishes, including pasta, (two) pizzas, risotto, fish, seafood, beef and lamb dishes. There are some vegetarian-friendly options available also. The bar is licensed to serve alcohol and offers a variety of cocktails, mocktails, wines, spirits and soft drinks.
The Huntr visited for a midweek dinner. We started our culinary journey with the Beef Stacceli, a divine live chef’s special made at the table and the Zucchini Pot Pie with Fresh Tomato Coulis. From the pasta section of the menu we opted for the gloriously fresh Hare Ravioli with Cannelloni Beans (95AED). The Seabass with Tomato Bisque, Capers and Black Olives (175AED) was okay but not our favourite dish, unlike the Duck Breast, Turnip Greens with Mango and Grapefruit Sauce (185AED), which blew us away. The desserts were good but a little on the small side. Our favourite was the Coffee Slush, Chocolate Pudding, Vanilla Cream and Crisp Puffed Rice (50AED) – we just wish there was more of it. And the Ricotta Pie with Cardamom Fruit Salad (50AED) was tasty but a little dry texture-wise.
Insider tips: Saturday night is ladies night and offers unlimited house wine for just 99AED and a 25% discount off the total bill from 8pm onwards. Keep an eye on the Leonardo Dubai Instagram account for other deals and weekly offers. Leonardo Dubai is open daily from 6pm.
