On the 9th of November, Sharjah opened the doors to its eagerly anticipated Fikra Graphic Design Biennial 01. Running until November 30th, the first-of-its-kind event in the region is spotlighting the ‘Ministry of Graphic Design’ for its inaugural exhibition.
Providing “a global platform to promote the role of graphic design in the 21st Century” the creative exhibition explores the graphic design of the past, present and future.
The Fikra Graphic Design Biennial 01 is headquartered inside the magnificent eL Seed Building on Bank Street in Sharjah and offers an enticing program including musical performances, talks, film, the launch of (the New York-based but Middle East rooted) MINAAZINE magazine, workshops screenings and The Bank Street Memorabilia Pop-Up Shop.
