The younger sister to Mokha 1450 Coffee Boutique in Al Safa, Mokha 1450 Coffee Lounge is a must-visit for all serious speciality coffee lovers. Step inside with your friends at The Huntr…
First opened in mid 2018, Mokha 1450 Coffee Lounge is a homegrown speciality coffee gem located on Dubai’s iconic Palm Jumeirah. A must-visit for coffee experts and the caffeine curious, Mokha 1450 blends traditional Arabic furnishings with a modern style to create a bright, spacious lounge, which encompasses various seating options for small and large groups and is spread over two floors.
All customers are greeted with complimentary water and dates and invited to explore the intriguing world of the third-wave coffee scene. The coffees on offer include black, milk-based, brewed and iced. Alternative milks are available for those who require/prefer them (almond, soya and oat when The Huntr visited), and there are many opportunities to engage with the expert baristas for interactive experiences.
Food-wise, the cafe serves sandwiches, pastries, baked goods and desserts. For those who don’t drink coffee, there are also a selection of coffee-free mocktails.
The Huntr ordered and loved the Single Shot on Ice with with Guatemalan Huehuetenango (15.75AED), the Aeropress with Ethiopia Haile (26.25AED) and the highly recommended and interactive Syphon with Yemeni Sabri (63.00AED). Plus a Pastrami Sandwich (39AED) and a decadent Chocolate Cake (35AED).
