Mura: Amalfi vibes on the Palm Jumeirah

The ideal spot for a fancy dinner with family, friends, clients, or a romantic date, the menu here features Italian favourites – vegetarians are well catered to but vegans will have a harder time. The HUNTR opted for the Crispy Truffle Mozarella (95AED) – crumbed mozzarella served with tomato gazpacho and fresh truffle, to be honest, we weren’t a fan of the textures of wet with crispy cheese but the flavour was great. The Octopus (120AED) is flame-grilled and served with an olive tapenade, toasted garlic aioli sauce, Napoli sauce and semi-dried tomatoes. The octopus was tender and the sauce was tangy and perfectly matched.

For mains, we decided to share one pizza and one pasta dish. The Arrabbiata (65AED) with spaghetti was simple but delicious. A classic not to be missed. And the Traditional Napoli Pizza (75AED) with Napoli sauce, fresh tomato and smoked mozzarella was good. To end a lovely dinner on a sweet (and rather artistic) note we shared The Lemon (55AED) dessert – a Mura signature featuring a rich lemon mousse, lemon compote, lemon chocolate and biscuit crumbs. And reminiscent of one of the many lemons parading inside the ceiling of the restaurant.
