A neighbourhood food tour with Warehouse421

The HUNTR recently had the pleasure of experiencing a neighbourhood food tour in the capital with the folks at Warehouse421. As part of its Fall 2022 program, the tour was led by Zain Mustafa and featured a four-venue food trail.

We gathered at Warehouse421 and then hopped on a waiting bus, ready to explore…

Arriving at the Al Zahiyah Neighbourhood, we then toured four hidden gems that were reasonably priced, homegrown and offering a casual dining experience. They were Ritaj – an Indian Hyderabadi restaurant established in 2007. Yalla Shay Cafe, a family-owned Pakistani gem. Sea Shell Cafeteria for karak, and Sheger Restaurant, serving Ethiopian cuisine.
