An Italian film festival is happening later this week

Cinema Akil, a beloved HUNTR favourite and the only independent cinema in the region, has announced an Italian-themed film festival – the N.I.C.E Film Festival.

Running from Friday, December 16th to Sunday, December 18th, at Cinema Akil in Alserkal Avenue, the program is filled with award-winning Italian films, including Californie (Alessandro Cassigoli and Casey Kauffman), Journey into the Twilight (Augusto Contento), Two Left Feet (Isabella Salvetti), Santa Lucia (Marco Chiappetta) and The Code of Silence (Franceso Costabile). There will also be live Q&As with Marco Chiappetta and Isabella Salvetti, and Augusto Content will be attending his Q&A virtually at the cinema.
