Parker’s La Mer marks Mr. Parker’s second outpost in the city, following his first (official) home in Downtown Dubai at The Dubai Mall.
This time it’s all about Parker’s Beach House – which is ideally located along La Mer’s pretty beach. To reflect the seaside mood, the interiors are light and airy, casual and welcoming. There is also an expansive patio area, which is perfect for outdoor dining during the cooler months.
Open from 10 am until midnight daily, Parker’s La Mer serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast menu is divided up between organic egg dishes, smoothies and bowls by Soil, and Parker’s Signatures (the sweet stuff). Then there is an assortment of pastas, pops, salads, burgers, sliders and fries for lunch or dinner.
The Huntr visited for a weekend breakfast and tried (and loved) the Turkish Simit (41AED) – traditional Simit, garlic & Za’atar yoghurt, 2 poached eggs, chili oil, and roasted red pepper harissa, which was full of flavour and delicious. The Avocado Toast (47AED with an extra egg) – avocado smash, black sesame, chili flakes, sea salt, and cherry tomatoes on sourdough bread. Parker’s Club Sandwich (43AED), the nutritious Tropical Acai (39AED) bowl and Mrs. Parker’s Dark French Toast (59AED) for something sweet and decadent.
Insider tip: Expect Parker’s to be packed during peak times. When The Huntr visited, it was so busy that we weren’t able to capture our usual interior shots.
