Save Soil: Sadhguru to visit the UAE on May 18th

Yogi, spiritual leader, and profound mystic of our times, Sadghuru, will be in the UAE on May 18 for three days as part of his global campaign to Save Soil…

The visionary humanitarian will begin his stay in Abu Dhabi with a visit to Jubail Mangrove Park, the educational nature reserve, where he will meet officials from the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment where they will sign a collaboration agreement with Conscious Planet, an initiative by Sadghuru to increase human consciousness to create a planet where ecological issues become election issues in the world.

The next stop on his tour will be at the Al Ain Oasis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where he will explore the diverse palm trees and learn about the sustainable agricultural practices at the Emirates Bio Farm, the UAE’s largest organic farm.

His visit also includes a public event at the Dubai World Trade Centre on Friday, May 20, from 6:30 to 8:30pm. The event will start with a cultural program featuring a performance by Sadhguru’s musical ensemble Sounds of Isha, Isha Samskriti, and the Emirates Youth Symphony Orchestra. Afterwards, Sadhguru will engage in a discussion with Mariam bint Mohammed Almheiri, Minister of Climate Change and Environment.

A determined motorcyclist on a journey to save soil, the 100-day campaign began in London on March 21st and will continue to the southern tip of India. Sadghuru is on a mission to educate nations on the consequences humanity faces if they continue to turn a blind eye to soil health. The initiative, launched in 1995, focuses on the ongoing soil crisis by uniting people around the world to promote awareness on the importance of soil health and enable actions toward increasing the organic content in the soil we use today.

Named one of India’s 50 most influential people, Sadghuru has been at the forefront of addressing socio-economic development and elegantly inspiring millions of people around the world with his initiatives to drive sustainable development within communities.
