Calling all surfers: Check out the Surf House x Laid Back Lebanon collab

Homegrown cafe and surf hub – The Surf House – has partnered with Lebanon Surf Community to host Laid Back Lebanon, a unique art and film event taking place on Saturday November 12 and Sunday November 13, from 10 am to 7 pm.

On the 12th, guests can expect a live tie dye session from local clothing brand, Loud Mood clothing, and a demo on how to ride a balance board by Purple Dye, a homegrown board shape and design company.

The special event will feature the works of Lebanese artist and surfer, Omar Greig. Born in the coastal town of Anfeh, Omar uses surfing as his inspiration for his vibrant and bold pieces. In addition, Paul Abbas, a surfer too, will be in attendance. Abbas is behind the surfboard brand Bahar Surfboards and is the first and only professional surfboard shaper in Lebanon and the region. Both artists will collaborate to shape and paint boards for guests.

The event will continue on the second day with an acoustic set by Dubai-based musician, Rony Sarkis, and RMZNHO. The day will end with live screenings of local Lebanese surf and sport films showcased by the Lebanese Outdoor Film Festival.
