The Floating Retreat: A one-of-a-kind experience coming to Sharjah

Adventurers, this one’s for you – a floating tent glamping experience is coming to the UAE. The Floating Retreat will allow guests to stay in tents suspended between the Hajar Mountains in Sharjah…

Guests can expect necessities such as beds, electricity, curtains, and heating/air-conditioning in the tents, and visitors will also be able to control the suspension of their tents using in-built controls. Each tent can be lowered around 330 feet in calm wind conditions. During the winter, guests can stay in the tents for 24 hours at a time, while in the summer, the tents will only be available for day use.

Other facilities are planned for the resort, such as a spa at the top of the mountain, and a restaurant. The retreat will also offer mountain climbing, wadi treks, and hikes. 

The resort is designed to be family-friendly, promoting environmental tourism, and providing guests with a calm space to disconnect while tapping into their adventurous side.
