Suhoor supper club at House of Artisans, Abu Dhabi
House of Artisans presents A Taste of Textiles – a five-night Suhoor series running from February 27 to March 3, available by reservation only, where five chefs each compose a menu drawn directly from the patterns, colours and histories of Emirati textile heritage. At the centre is the Naseej Exhibition, a display of iconic Emirati fabrics – Mezary Boukazah, Bu Terra, Bunsieh, Buteelah and Bugalim – which function not as backdrop but as creative brief. Each evening is led by a different chef interpreting the textiles through their own culinary lens: plant-forward and spice-routed, landscape-driven, majlis-rooted, layered and narrative, through to a golden ceremonial close on the final night. Guests may also participate in an invitation-based experience to co-create a personalised kandora using fabrics from the exhibition.
