The Ramadan Street Food Festival at Sheikh Hamdan Colony
Now in its fourth year, the Ramadan Street Food Festival returns to Sheikh Hamdan Colony in Karama, running from February 19 to March 18. The festival unfolds across two areas – Flavour Lane and Culinary Crossroads at Karama Park – connected by a walkable food trail. Over 100 restaurants participate, with a focus on South Indian and Asian cuisines and dishes starting from 5 AED. The first phase (February 19–28) features décor and restaurant pop-ups, while the full programme of entertainment, food kiosks and activations begins March 1. Nightly entertainment includes live music, tanoura dancers, LED stilt walkers and roaming artisans practising Arabic calligraphy and henna. A Carnival Zone adds family-friendly games.
